ANDRES VEIEL SHOWS US SOME OF THOSE UPGRADES. IT WAS AN EXCITING NIGHT FOR BASEBALL FANS IN SACRAMENTO, WHERE JUST A WEEK AWAY FROM THE A’S HOME OPENER RIGHT HERE AT SUTTER HEALTH PARK. AND TONIGHT’S RIVER CATS GAME ACTUALLY GAVE US A FIRST GLIMPSE OF WHAT’S CHANGED FOR WHEN THE A’S TAKE TO THE FIELD. FROM THE SCOREBOARD TO THE LIGHTING, THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE UPGRADES FANS WILL SEE THIS SEASON AT SUTTER HEALTH PARK. I THINK IT’S GOING TO ATTRACT MORE PEOPLE, AND I THINK THAT IT WILL BE A PLACE WHERE THERE COULD BE A LOT MORE MEMORIES MADE. AND JIM PEAVY IS MAKING THOSE MEMORIES. WHILE HE AND HIS SON WATCHED THE RIVER CATS PLAY, THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS. BUT IT’S THE ATHLETICS THAT HAS EVERYONE TALKING. IT’S GOING TO BE DOUBLE THE BASEBALL, DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF FUN AND MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO COME OUT AND SEE YOUR FAVORITE BALLPLAYERS. I MEAN, HOW CAN IT NOT BE WHEN YOU’VE GOT, YOU KNOW, RIVER CATS PLAYING DURING THE DAY AND THE A’S PLAYING AT NIGHT? THE PLACE IS GOING TO BE PACKED. THE PARKING IS GOING TO BE PACKED. THE FOOD, THE BEER, ALL OF IT. AFTER SPENDING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO UPGRADE THE STADIUM FOR THE ATHLETIC’S FIRST SEASON IN WEST SACRAMENTO, FANS GOT A FIRSTHAND LOOK AT THE CHANGES SUNDAY NIGHT. I THINK THE A’S ARE GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME PLAYING HERE. IT SHOULD BE FUN FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS TO ENJOY THAT. I DO NOTICE THAT THE FIELD LOOKS GREAT. I KNOW THAT THEY RIPPED THAT ALL OUT AND REDID IT ALL. IT LOOKS AMAZING. SUTTER HEALTH PARK ALSO INVESTING IN TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL ALLOW FANS TO WATCH INSTANT REPLAYS ON THE SCOREBOARD. SUNDAY’S SOLD OUT GAME CREATING ANTICIPATION AMONG A’S FANS. FOR ME, I ALREADY BOUGHT TICKETS TO LIKE 5 OR 6 A’S GAMES. I TRIED TO GET IN ON THE SEASON TICKETS. NO CHANCE ON THAT THAT I HEARD THAT BACKLOG FOR THAT. LIKE, THEY PRETTY MUCH SOLD OUT. IT WILL BE SUPER FUN TO COME TO GAMES AND BRING MY KIDS, KIND OF GIVE THEM THE SAME A’S EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD AS A KID. UNTIL THEN, FANS EAGERLY AWAITING THE START OF A NEW ERA AT SUTTER HEALTH PARK. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR US IN SACRAMENTO. AS YOU CAN PROBABLY TELL, WE’RE SELLING OUT A LOT OF SEATS. YOU KNOW, THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT FOR THE A’S. SOME OTHER UPGRADES INCLUDE A NEW STATE OF THE ART CLUBHOUSE, WHICH WILL INCLUDE A DEDICATED TRAINING FACILITY, AS WELL AS A RECO
