SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — We are learning more about the intense storms that rolled through neighboring Nebraska and Iowa Friday afternoon. The areas of Omaha and Elkhorn were hit the worst. Minden, Iowa also received extensive damage.

South Dakota faired better with mostly rain falling across the state. Small-sized hail fell in Madison, SD Friday afternoon as shown in these photos below. There were no tornadoes reported in South Dakota.
