Ludvig Mkrtchyan (born in 1969) and Alyosha Khosrovyan (born in 1967) are accused of crimes that were allegedly committed during the first Karabakh (Artsakh) war in the early 1990s.

The Azerbaijani authorities are carrying out the practice of settling scores with all the Armenians they had captured during the first war.

  • The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border near Armenia's Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces remains tense.

The Azerbaijani soldiers have not yet pulled out their troops from Armenian territory.

According to various media reports, another 1,000 Azerbaijani soldiers have invaded the Armenian border.

Some officials reported that 1,000 Azerbaijanis are carrying out construction works in the Sev Lake area in Syunik.

However, the Armenian defense ministry has rejected all the reports, noting that some Azerbaijani troops who had invaded Armenia have already returned to their original positions.

  • The search has resumed for the remains of the Armenian soldiers who fell during the last Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war.

The total number of such remains found, or transferred by Azerbaijan, in the territories now outside Artsakh jurisdiction after the ceasefire is 1,553—and 27 of them, according to preliminary data, are of civilians.

According to IRNA, Zarif’s visit is set to begin on May 25.

There is no information yet - the search for him continues, Arsen Aghababyan, the mayor of Armenia’s Koghb village, told NEWS.am.

  • Tornado hit Armenia’s Etchmiadzin-Zvartnots on Sunday.

Armenian hydrometeorology deputy chief Gagik Surenyan on Monday posted a video on Facebook capturing the tornado that was observed yesterday.
