FREEZE WARNING
Much colder air arrives behind a cold front heading into Sunday night. Temperatures in the 30s are likely for many of us Monday and Tuesday morning. A Freeze Warning is in effect for many spots Monday morning. Patchy frost will be possible Tuesday morning. Highs Monday afternoon only climb into the 50's, but we will start to moderate Tuesday afternoon.
TROPICAL STORM ETA
Tropical Storm Eta is in the Caribbean Sea. The forecast from the National Hurricane Center calls for it to become a hurricane prior to making landfall in Central America. In fact, some models show the potential of rapid intensification prior to landfall early in the week.

7-DAY FORECAST
A strong cold front will sweep through the area Sunday night ushering in even colder temperatures to start the week. There is some threat of a freeze or frost both Monday and Tuesday mornings with lows dropping into the 30s. A Freeze Warning is in effect for much of the area Monday morning. Highs on Monday will be very chilly in the 50s but temperatures will gradually moderate through the week. The forecast remains dry through the next several days. Daylight saving time ended this weekend so the sun set at 4:54 PM on Sunday but of course comes up earlier Monday morning at 6:07 AM.
