Tornadoes were spotted touching down in two Western Massachusetts towns Sunday evening, The Boston Globe reported.
The National Weather Service told the Globe they were notified by Sandisfield police that a tornado had touched down there, and that radar confirmed a tornado over Blandford.
Connecticut State Police said they received multiple reports of a tornado in Salisbury in the northwestern part of the state, according to The Associated Press.

The watch was issued for Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties.
Officials warned that a few tornadoes may be possible in these areas, along with isolated ping pong ball-sized hail and scattered wind gusts of up to 70 mph.
A watch was also issued for parts of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont, according to the weather service.
“Be sure to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts and have a safety plan in place,” officials said, adding some advice for taking shelter in a tweet Sunday afternoon.
