ROCKPORT, Ind. (AP) - The National Weather Service says a second tornado struck Indiana when storms lashed the state Saturday.

It said Wednesday that a damage survey revealed an EF-1 tornado damaged at least six homes and as many outbuildings west of Rockport near the Ohio River. It says the 300-yard-wide twister packing maximum winds of 90 mph also uprooted or snapped a dozen trees and snapped a few utility poles along its 2½-mile path.

The weather service earlier reported a weak tornado touched down briefly near the Tippecanoe County town of Dayton, damaging a house and several trees.
