The National Weather Service in Albuquerque issued a tornado warning for Eastern Cibola County in west central New Mexico until 3:45 p.m. after a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was spotted.The storm was located 8 miles south of Mesita, or 10 miles south of Laguna.Residents should take cover and avoid windows.
