HISTORY repeated itself last week when David Lyons of Melville Poll Herefords, Vasey, Victoria, broke his own record at an annual Kidman Poll Hereford bull sale when he paid $35,000 for this year’s sale-topper.

Kidman studmaster, Nelson Carlow, Dubbo, said it was a tremendous accomplishment to have a stud of Melville’s status return to break its own record at his sale.
“Competition has 100 per cent pigmentation and a sirey head and outlook with depth and great structure and I’m sure he will do well for the Melville Park herd,” Mr Carlow said.
